Are Campers able to attend camp more than once?
Campers are welcome to attend Camp Goodtime every year from 7 - 15. While some camper's choose to come every summer. others only attend for a few years. At age 16, campers are asked to "take a year off" but are invited to return as Buddy Counselor Volunteers once they reach the age of 17.
Transportation Troubles?
No trouble- if you don't have transportation to and from Camp Goodtime, contact the Canadian Cancer Society 1-800-639-0222. During your stay, golf carts are available for anyone who needs assistance getting around. Most buildings are wheelchair accessible.
How much does it cost to attend camp?
The camp registration fee is $75. However, registration fees are never a barrier to anyone wanting to attend camp. If you need support, please contact the Canadian Cancer Society at 1-800-639-0222.
What if my child gets homesick?
Lots of people get homesick while they are away and our campers are no exception! All our counselors, staff, volunteers, and buddies are specially trained to help campers get to know each other and their new surroundings so they feel more like home. they are excellent at administering TLC; after all everyone knows that hugs an smiles are contagious!
What's on the menu?
Cooking staff change the menu daily and work with our Program Staff to incorporate special themes for extra mealtime fun. Provisions are made to address camper's medical needs, food allergies and specialized or restricted diets, providing nutritious meals for everyone. |
